Nurse Lily stumbles into the hospital’s newest employee, an old janitor who sings a strange but majestic hymn whilst mopping the floors. Striking a conversation with the janitor, Lily finds the old man intriguing as he provides her fermented herbs that restores her energy and tells fables about ancient beings known as the guardians. Eager to know more, Nurse Lily pleads with the janitor to share more of his wisdom, to which he lures Lily into the basement of the hospital.
